The position of the software developer consists of understanding the business requirement, developing the efficient technical solutions to the business problems, testing the modules developed and ensuring the timely deliverables of the development.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with management, departments and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications.
- Designing algorithms and flowcharts to create new software programs and systems.
- Producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements.
- Testing and deploying programs and applications.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software.
- Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software performance.
- Observing user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products.
- Developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects.
- Design and develop the analytical reports to assist the business decisions.
- Responsible to maintain and reconcile the data integrity of the application.
Qualifications: - Bachelors/Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related technical discipline.
- 1+ years of experience of professional software development.
- Proficiency in handling the relational data base preferably oracle.
- Proficiency in any of the programming language (eg. Java, C# etc.)
- Knowledge of application architecture and design.
- Knowledge of software engineering and best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source code control, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience serving as technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle
- Experience in the development of distributed systems, scalability, and high-volume transaction processing—preferred
- English language skill with excellent or professional level.
Additional Preferred Skills: - Experience of Data analytics & any of reporting tool (eg. Power BI, tableau, Qlikview etc.)
- Any experience or knowledge of retail industry
- Knowledge of corporate finance.
